Maria Luminița Scutaru is a Full Professor, PhD supervisor, and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Transilvania University of Brașov, Romania. She holds two doctoral degrees and obtained her habilitation in Mechanical Engineering in 2015. Her research focuses on analytical mechanics, multibody systems, structural dynamics, and innovative composite materials, with over 100 scientific articles authored and co-authored, including a 2025 Springer publication. She is actively involved in international academic cooperation, doctoral mentorship, and organizing key scientific events such as the COMEC and COMAT conferences.

Dr. Luigi di Sarno is a Reader in Resilient and Sustainable Infrastructure at the University of Liverpool, UK, where he also serves as Director of Research for the Department and leads the Resilient and Sustainable Infrastructure Team. He holds a PhD in Structural Engineering and two master's degrees from Imperial College London. An internationally recognized expert in earthquake and structural engineering, he has authored around 300 research publications and co-authored the book Fundamentals of Earthquake Engineering. Dr. di Sarno serves on the editorial boards of leading engineering journals, contributes to several international committees on seismic design and disaster risk reduction, and is a global consultant in disaster resilience. In 2024, he received the University of Liverpool's Staff Award for Sustainability in Research.

Mariam Shai is an urban planner based in Riyadh with over a decade of international experience in urban development, strategic planning, and large-scale project delivery across Europe and the Middle East. She contributes to shaping the future of cities through research, thought leadership, and public speaking.

Zhongsheng Guo obtained his master degree in 2000 and doctor degree in 2004 from the Northwest A& F University, and now, he is a professor in Northwest A& F University, China. His major is plant ecology and soil and water conservation. He have researched sustainable use of natural resources and the high-quality Agricultural development for a long time, and put forward the theory of resources use limit by plants, the theory of vegetation carrying capacity, the theory of critical period of regulation of plant resource relations and the new theory of soil and water conservation. This is the theoretical basis for high-quality development of forest, grass, agriculture and soil and water conservation. He is the Head of "innovation China" Agricultural high-quality production and industry Service Group.

Abbas Ali Ghezelsofloo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Islamic Azad University of Mashhad, Iran, where he has been a faculty member since August 2007. He earned his PhD in Civil Engineering (Water Resources and Hydraulics) from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, where he also received his MSc in Civil Engineering, and obtained his BSc in Civil Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. His scholarly interests include numerical methods in water science, water resources engineering, dams and hydraulic structures, and water-related disaster management. His research also engages with water and environmental challenges in arid and semi-arid regions, including drought, river system adaptation, and sustainable water management. From 2014 to 2022, he founded and directed the Arid Environment Research Center in Iran, focusing on development-related issues in dryland environments and responses to hydrological and environmental stress.

Ali Ouguemat obtained his PhD from the Mouloud Mammeri University of Tizi-Ouzou (Algeria). As part of the completion of his doctoral research, he carried out a research internship at the Laboratory of Mechanics and Civil Engineering (LMGC) of the University of Montpellier (France). His research focuses mainly on the behavior of fine-grained soils, particularly their hydromechanical behavior, with applications to geotechnical structures. His research activities are therefore within the fields of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering. He currently holds the position of lecturer and researcher at Mouloud Mammeri University of Tizi-Ouzou (Algeria), where he pursues teaching and research activities in civil engineering and geotechnical engineering.

Prof. Wener Miranda Teixeira dos Santos holds a degree in Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), a Master’s and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), and completed postdoctoral research in Civil Engineering at the University of Beira Interior (UBI), Portugal. Researcher and consultant specializing in industrial waste and sustainable materials. He has industrial experience in Materials Engineering, Process Engineering, CAPEX Project Management, and Infrastructure. Throughout his professional career, he has worked for companies such as Acumuladores Moura S/A, Pöyry (AFRY), Consórcio de Alumínio do Maranhão (ALUMAR/ALCOA), and ARCADIS, carrying out activities related to industrial processes, engineering, and capital project management.

Dr. Jacques Khouri is a Switzerland-based international professional with over 20 years of experience in digital transformation, capital project management, and engineering technologies. He holds a PhD in Remote Sensing Radar Systems from CentraleSupélec, France. He has held senior roles with organizations including PwC, Bentley Systems, Dar Group, Huawei Technologies, and Alstom, contributing to major projects across Europe, the GCC, and Asia. Currently with O3 Solutions, he focuses on Advanced Work Packaging, Digital Project Management, and Digital Twin–enabled project delivery. He is also an author, entrepreneur, and inventor with three books, numerous technical publications, and seven international patents.

Liviu Gabriel Baicu is a Romanian architect and urban planner with over 20 years of experience in architectural design, infrastructure development, and urban mobility projects. He is the CEO of GLB TRANSARK SRL and has been actively involved in multidisciplinary teams delivering complex civil and railway infrastructure works across Romania. In parallel with his professional practice, he is a doctoral researcher at the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism (UAUIM) in Bucharest, where his work focuses on the role of railway stations as catalysts for polycentric metropolitan development. His research integrates architecture, urbanism, mobility, and emerging methodologies such as biometric analysis and spatial data evaluation. Liviu Baicu combines practical expertise with academic inquiry, contributing to both large-scale infrastructure projects and contemporary research on the transformation of transport hubs into sustainable, human-centered urban nodes.

Raghad Awad holds a master’s degree in civil engineering and is currently a PhD candidate specializing in water resources engineering. Her research focuses on sustainable urban stormwater systems, with an emphasis on evaluating how green infrastructure influences urban water management. She focuses on nature-based solutions such as green roofs, permeable pavements, and rain gardens to improve stormwater management, reduce flood risk, and strengthen climate resilience in urban environments.

Elias Hossain is a PhD candidate at the University of Central Florida, USA. His research is about reliable LLMs when humans can't supervise at scale. Four concrete questions drive the work. (1) Can pretrained transformers report calibrated uncertainty in their own attention? (2) Can we verify AI-generated supervision when the judges themselves share blind spots? (3) Can we monitor tool-using agents and intervene on unsafe trajectories, not just outputs? (4) Can we steer a model away from outdated parametric memory at test time, without retraining or retrieval? My applied vertical is clinical and biomedical AI, where the cost of confident errors is measured in patient harm, not benchmarks.

Kirubel Tefera Gesho is a PhD candidate in Road and Railway Engineering at Southwest Jiaotong University, China, and a lecturer at Dilla University, Ethiopia. His research focuses on the seismic performance assessment of transportation infrastructure, with particular emphasis on seismic fragility analysis and probabilistic seismic demand modeling of highway bridges in moderate-intensity seismic zones. His recent publications address nonlinear time-history analysis, component-level fragility modeling, and the statistical dependence of structural response parameters. He has also conducted applied research on dynamic load effects in airport pavements. Kirubel’s academic interests are structural dynamics, soil-structure interaction, and infrastructure resilience. He actively contributes to interdisciplinary efforts aimed at improving the safety and sustainability of civil infrastructure in seismically active regions.
